Welcome to my first post

This is the first time I use WordPress.

Everything works like it’s supposed to work, except for the author image below the post.

I used Gravatar for my personal avatar photo. I tested it with a comment and worked just fine. But the author image didn’t show up. After some testing I discovered that the default image appears in front of my Gravatar image.

The solution was simple, I removed the default image from the get_avatar function inside single.php.


echo get_avatar(get_the_author_email(), $size = '80', $default = $urlHome . '/images/default_avatar_author.gif' );


echo get_avatar(get_the_author_email(), $size = '80');

After that, as you can see, the Gravatar photo appeared 🙂
